With deep sorrow, the Lions Club of Fenwick mourns the loss of Lion Al Beamer, a dedicated member for over 45 years.

During his tenure, Lion Al served with distinction as Club President multiple times, Club Secretary, and most recently as Club Membership Chair. His passion for Lionism extended to district leadership, where he notably served as A-2 District Governor and chaired the Diabetes Committee for many years. Lion Al’s contributions were recognized with numerous awards from the Fenwick Lions Club, District A-2 and Lions Club International.

A cornerstone of the Fenwick Lions Club, Lion Al exemplified leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication to service. The club owes much of its success to Alan Beamer’s steadfast commitment.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, Lion Susan Beamer, who shared his commitment to service over their 53 years together. We also extend our sympathy to their children David, Sarah, John, and Gerry, their partners/spouses, and grandchildren Victoria, Chelsea, Taylor, Addison, and Elijah.

May Alan Beamer find eternal peace in the heavens above. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
